About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Product Manager to lead time-critical and business-critical B2B product development projects. The individual will ensure that customer needs, organisational capabilities, and strategic objectives align while working across cross-functional teams. This role plays a central part in shaping product concepts, defining requirements, driving project execution, and supporting the full product lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Implement time-sensitive and business-critical projects in alignment with agreed scope, quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee local project budgets up to EUR 2 million, including planning, forecasting, and financial oversight.
  • Deliver development projects in waterfall, agile, or hybrid models, using relevant demand-intake and fulfilment processes.
  • Serve as the key interface between local commercial product management teams and cross-functional delivery units, collaborating with 10+ specialists across functions such as product management, customer operations, network engineering, IT design/development, security, and external partners.
  • Act as a trusted consultant during concept phases to define realistic and feasible scopes that balance customer needs with organisational capabilities.
  • Manage the full requirements and solution definition phase, ensuring consideration of functional, non-functional, security, SOX, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct user-centric testing aligned to customer journeys.
  • Drive product lifecycle activities in partnership with commercial product managers, identifying optimisation opportunities and overseeing enhancements that improve functionality and customer experience.
  • Manage local governance processes, including necessary approvals and compliance with product management frameworks.

Who you are

  • Skilled in conceptual thinking, analytical reasoning, and strategic planning.
  • Quick to understand new products, systems, and data structures.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and committed to collaborative delivery.
  • Confident in leading cross-functional teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experienced in project management across waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies, covering risk management, budgeting, planning, and communication.
  • Hold a degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Bring at least three years of experience in project management, ideally within B2B product development.
  • Possess telecommunications knowledge, including B2B products and tariffs.
  • Fluent in English (B2) and German (GER B2).
