About this Role

We are seeking a Software Test Analyst with 5-7 years of testing experience to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The role involves serving as a key testing specialist within project teams, ensuring effective test planning, execution, quality assurance, and risk management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders, contribute to test strategy and process improvements, and help drive continuous enhancement of quality engineering practices.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary testing specialist for assigned applications within projects and programmes.
  • Define, review, and assure the quality of test approaches, test scenarios, test cases, regression scope, and overall test concepts.
  • Collaborate with developers, technical architects, product owners, project managers, release managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, business scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support testing teams and release management activities through effort estimation, capacity planning, test environment readiness, deployment verification, and test data planning.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate software quality risks to stakeholders, ensuring test activities remain aligned with business priorities and project complexity.
  • Review test outcomes, regression results, and quality-related documentation, including documentation required for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing efficiency, quality processes, and ways of working.
  • Provide recommendations on automation opportunities, non-functional testing approaches, testing frameworks, and quality improvement initiatives.

Who you are

  • 5-7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience designing and reviewing test scenarios, test cases, and regression test coverage.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.
  • Understanding of test planning, test execution, defect management, and quality risk assessment.
  • Experience supporting release readiness activities, test environments, and deployment verification.
  • Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Awareness of test automation and non-functional testing principles.
