About this Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Web Application team, contributing to front-end development, enhancing portal performance, and ensuring strong SEO delivery. This role involves analysing and implementing new requirements, collaborating with business partners, and working hands-on with modern front-end technologies including React, Next.js, GraphQL, and Node.js. The individual will support ongoing enhancements, maintain high-quality standards, and work within Agile and DevOps-driven environments.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver high-quality analysis, coding, unit testing, regression testing, and implementation of new requirements.
  • Enhance portal KPIs and contribute to SEO performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and development partners to discuss and implement new ideas.
  • Prepare High-Level and Low-Level Design documents for functional requirements.
  • Provide real-time bug-fix support during acceptance and end-to-end testing.
  • Coordinate with client teams during production deployments.
  • Communicate technical solutions in clear, audience-friendly language.
  • Apply Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to daily work.
  • Support DevOps delivery models, automation, and optimisation initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by staying informed of industry trends and recommending modern technical improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of lessons learnt.

Who you are

  • A graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Skilled in modern front-end development using React.js, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, and scalable web application development.
  • Experienced in working with backend services and APIs, including both REST and GraphQL interfaces.
  • Proficient with Node.js ecosystems, frontend tooling, build systems, and static site generation (e.g., Gatsby).
  • Knowledgeable about data handling, caching strategies, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
  • Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong in version control using Git and familiar with collaborative workflows such as code reviews and branching strategies.
  • Experienced in Agile/DevOps environments, collaborating with backend developers, QA engineers, designers, and product owners.
  • A problem-solver with strong debugging and communication abilities.
  • Able to operate as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Curious, technology-driven, committed to continuous learning, and motivated to optimise processes.
