The Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming the world around us by connecting machines, devices and objects to the internet and turning them into ‘intelligent’ assets that communicate. As the IoT Billing Operations Specialist you will support the IoT Billing Operations Lead and take accountability for managing key projects to improve our IoT billing operations. You will work with the operational teams, both internal and third party supplier, that manage the customer configuration and bill run to ensure that we continually improve customer experience, efficiency and governance processes. You will also focus on the future, engaging with our product management community to ensure that operational requirements and priorities are understood and the roadmap supports the evolving business need.
- Responsible to ensure billing operations SLA compliance including close monitoring & review of operational KPIs
- Accountable for managing key projects to improve our IoT billing operations ensuring on-time and accurate invoicing, minimising billing bad debt and revenue leakage.
- Responsible for proactively identifying billing gaps, risks and issues. Manages cross functional teams to implement corrective actions and continuously improve the billing operational performance.
- Responsible for feeding billing requirements and priorities into the product management team and representing billing operations in Steerco & governance forums.
- Responsible for working with product and technology teams to agree billing processes for new products and services
Who you are
- Experience (3+ years) managing billing operations ideally within international telco environment.
- Ability to identify issues that are impacting our billing operational performance and work collaboratively with stakeholders to define and implement solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management working in a collaborative manner to achieve the right outcomes for the business. Ability to challenge thinking and influence across the organisation.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Fluent English
