About this Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong full stack development expertise to join our Software & Product Infrastructure team in Bucharest. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting complex software solutions that include databases, business logic, user interfaces, and integrations with other systems. Working within an international team, you will contribute to delivering enterprise-grade solutions for customers across global markets while supporting the full software development lifecycle from design and estimation through development, deployment, and third-level support.

What you’ll do

  • Develop well-structured, maintainable, and scalable code in accordance with company standards and best practices.
  • Design, develop, and enhance software products, services, functionalities, and application modules
  • .Document system enhancements, technical changes, and development activities.
  • Coordinate software development and delivery activities based on business and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to impact assessments and analyse dependencies across interconnected systems.
  • Provide accurate effort and time estimations for upcoming features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate effectively within distributed and international teams across multiple projects.
  • Support the creation and development of project teams and collaborative delivery environments.
  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
  • Deliver third-level support for applications and services developed by the team.
  • Produce low-level designs, functional and non-functional specifications, unit test plans, and test results.
  • Support end users and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Who you are

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development using object-oriented programming principles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Angular, SQL, web technologies, and web services.
  • Advanced understanding of software development lifecycle management and associated best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, or SVN.
  • Good knowledge of Linux administration, maintenance, and scripting.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery frameworks.
  • Knowledge of relational database design, data normalisation, and database concepts.
  • Data warehouse knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience developing software for internet-based platforms, mobile applications, or communications technologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to coordinate small software development teams and support collaborative project delivery.
  • Fluent English language skills (B2 level or above).
  • Additional foreign language skills are advantageous.
