Senior Technical Delivery Manager

Job Description

Your day to day:

This is a project management professional, top profile role in DMaaS dept., that manages cross-country programs, cross-functional and projects with impact in different network domains, as requested by our VOIS customers from Vodafone European markets and Vodafone Group stakeholders.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Leads the end-to-end lifecycle of programs and large-scale, complex projects within the PM services team portfolio (P*Q), having responsibilities span from conducting feasibility studies and coordinating design and development phases, to overseeing testing, managing acceptance processes, and ensuring a smooth transition to operations.
  • Acts as a role model within the team by consistently upholding high-quality standards (QoS) for project management deliverables, in alignment with the NSE end-to-end delivery framework and the business priorities defined by VOIS customers.
    • Establishes program and project governance in alignment with the Market Delivery Manager (MDM) and other NSE stakeholders.
    • Defines and regularly updates project plans, ensuring alignment and integration within broader program governance when applicable.
    • Proactively manages risks and issues by implementing mitigation actions agreed upon with relevant stakeholders.
    • Handles escalations and drives prioritization of resources (experts in the project, budget) in collaboration with MDMs and NSE stakeholders.
    • Ensures clear, customer-focused communication with all stakeholders and project team members, for all PM services delivered.
    • Formalizes and reports all programs and projects in a timely manner using the NSE PM tool, ensuring proper interlock and governance for projects within programs.
  • Act as a key advocate for the adoption and growth of ‘PM managed services” delivered to VOIS customers. Play an active role in the broader DMaaS PM community by driving continuous improvements, sharing best practices, and engaging in knowledge transfer with fellow PMs to increase the overall productivity of DMaaS team.
  • Be the team player and lead engagement activities within his/her team and across DMaaS dept., serving as a role model in the project management community.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • 5+ years’ experience of process & project management in telecommunications (networks domain)
  • Ability to work within virtual teams, across different organizations and countries
  • Strong stakeholder management and Analytical thinking
  • University degree in computer science, telecommunications or equivalent
  • Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner)
