What you’ll do

• Innovative Projects: Lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge broadband systems across European markets and Group functions with a specific focus on the Portugal market, aligning with business needs and strategic goals
• Lifecycle Management: Take charge of the entire lifecycle of systems and solutions, identifying technical synergies and recommending actions for improvement
• Strategic Leadership: Independently execute complex and strategic programs, leading multinational and cross-domain working groups
• Technical Expertise: Develop and present technical and strategic concepts to expert committees and management circles
• Operational Support: Support domain/vertical management in operational and strategic decisions, contributing actively to the strategic roadmap
• Solution Design: Analyse and evaluate business requirements, translating them into innovative solution designs
• Release and Capacity Management: Ensure effective release and capacity management for accountable systems
• Supplier Management: Maintain positive working relationships with external suppliers, aligning product roadmaps with business and domain strategies
• Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholders up to senior management level across different European markets and Group functions
• Innovation and Best Practices: Identify and implement best practices and technological innovations, ensuring they are reflected in the domain strategy and roadmap
• New Technologies: Apply and promote the use of new technologies and methodologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Agile Development

Who you are

• 7 years of professional experience in broadband telecommunications
• Engineering degree in telecommunications or computer science or related field
• Goal and team-oriented working method, high level of empathy and cultural awareness
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Self -confident / high impact presentation /communication with decision-makers and suppliers
• Very good command of English, both verbally and written
