Job Description

Your day to day:

You will coordinate the design, development, testing and deployment of systems and complex solutions across the European markets, but especially for VST-Italy, in line with business needs and the OSS domain strategy.

You will focus on designing and implementing the systems which ensure the proper planning, optimization and configuration of the Radio Access Network.

You will be accountable to manage the entire lifecycle of the systems and solutions in this area.

You will coordinates the translation of business demands into technical requirements and identifies the affected areas. Checks feasibility of demands with regard to local business needs.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

•You will design the Software Architecture of the systems included in the Operational Readiness domain in terms of design principles, functional blocks and interfaces.

•You will design and develop the IT solution in terms of application software, IT hardware, operating system and databases

•You will define test lists, plans and execute validation activities together with OSS Planning Tools team and local business.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• You have a deep knowledge of telecommunication business in terms of IT and Network technologies
• You have a deep knowledge of the most adopted RAN planning & deployment systems (supporting site planning, e.g. ATOLL, ActixOne, deployment workflow mgt. & others)
• You have a deep knowledge of most common IT development frameworks and domains’ specific software tools and IT architecture
• Software development lifecycle experience
• Good communication skills in English
• Engineering degree (Bachelor / Master) in telecommunications or computer science or equivalent.
• Very good communication and information skills.
• Customer oriented and systematic way of working.
• Knowledge of Italian language is beneficial
