What you’ll do
Responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and support of SDN and FaaS platforms and services. The role ensures service availability, security enforcement, and SLA compliance during the Run phase, supporting mission-critical network and security services for SME and Major customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for providing technical support (L1/L2/L3) for SD-WAN and Firewall-as-a-Service environments
- Perform monitoring and troubleshooting of WAN links, routing, QoS, and traffic policies.
- Manage and resolve incident tickets and service requests.
- Support SD-WAN orchestrators (e.g., FortiManager, VMware Orchestrator).
- Administer and update security policies in FWaaS platforms (web filtering, IPS/IDS, threat prevention).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for performance and security issues.
- Coordinate with NOC, SOC, vendors, and engineering teams during major incidents
- Ensure SDN and FWaaS services meet defined SLAs, KPIs, and security requirements
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecoms or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in similar position within a service provider/operator or vendor
- Certifications such as CCNA (cisco) or FCP (Fortinet) are mandatory
- Strong experience in SD-WAN design, deployment, and optimization across multi-site and hybrid cloud environments
- Hands-on expertise with leading SD-WAN platforms
- Proven track record in Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) deployments
- Extensive experience in network segmentation, routing, QoS, and traffic engineering
- Strong background in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of VPN technologies and remote access solutions integrated with SD-WAN and FWaaS.
- Proven ability to implement centralized monitoring and policy management using orchestration and cloud-based consoles.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Greek & English
