About this Role

We are seeking an SAP ABAP Consultant with expertise across Core ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and added capabilities such as SAP UI5/Fiori and BTP. The individual will be responsible for delivering high‑quality development solutions, supporting implementation projects, enabling automation, and enhancing SAP modules through efficient coding, technical troubleshooting, and scalable design. This role suits someone who enjoys working across diverse SAP technologies and driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

Contribute to all phases of the SAP development lifecycle.Develop well‑structured, efficient, and high‑quality ABAP code.Conduct testing, optimisation, and fine‑tuning of technical objects.Ensure all development work aligns with technical specifications and standards.Investigate alternative approaches and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement.Apply analytical and debugging techniques to solve complex technical challenges.

Who you are

Proficient in SAP ABAP with strong knowledge of ABAP Objects.Experienced in Core ABAP areas such as ALV reports, classical and interactive reporting, ALE/IDoc/proxy interfaces, BAPI/BDC conversions, enhancements (User Exits, BADI, implicit/explicit), and Adobe/Smartforms.Knowledgeable in ABAP on HANA including CDS, AMDP, IDA, OData, and code compatibility optimisations.Skilled in CDS extensions, SAP UI5/Fiori, PI/CPI, API management, Redwood Robotics, BTP, and machine learning (desired).Experienced in development within SAP FICO, SCM, and HR modules.Capable of supporting automation development projects.Strong in analytical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting.
