  • Execute and coordinate performance tests, analyse results and communicate findings to stakeholders and multi-vendor teams
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to define performance test requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Analyse non-functional requirements, volumetric data and performance risks to ensure realistic test coverage
  • Develop and maintain non-functional test strategies, ensuring they reflect project risk profiles, schedules and testing processes
  • Use load testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter and SOAP UI across protocols including Web HTTP and Siebel
  • Support performance test scripting and execution using relevant programming and scripting skills including C, Java, VB macros, SQL and shell scripts
  • Analyse Java/JVM behaviour including garbage collection, class loading, thread dumps and database performance for Oracle and SQL Server
  • Use application performance monitoring and profiling tools such as HP Diagnostics, CA Wily, Dynatrace or AppDynamics to assess application and server metrics
  • Identify, capture and support resolution of defects through agreed defect management processes
  • Work with application teams to resolve performance issues and ensure quality and accuracy of test deliverables
  • Promote reuse of test assets including scripts, input data sets and frameworks across non-functional testing projects

Who you are

  • You have proven experience delivering performance software testing solutions within a multinational, onshore and offshore delivery environment
  • You understand telecommunications domains and can apply performance testing approaches across cloud, CRM and middleware platforms
  • You have hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter and SOAP UI
  • You have experience working in CI/CD environments and cloud-based infrastructure or application landscapes
  • You can analyse non-functional requirements, volumetric data and performance test results accurately
  • You understand Java/JVM architecture, garbage collection, thread dumps and database performance analysis
  • You have working knowledge of SQL, shell scripting and programming or scripting approaches used to customise performance test scripts
