About this Role
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications. The individual will work on creating RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring robust performance and scalability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing best practices, and contributing to innovation in application development.
What you will do
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.Write unit tests and ensure code quality for reliability and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, improving application efficiency.Continuously explore and integrate emerging technologies to enhance development processes.Work with third-party libraries, APIs, and remote data sources.Manage source code using Git and follow software configuration best practices.
Who you are
Minimum 8 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years in API development.Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful services.Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is desirable.Familiarity with TypeScript, HTML5, NoSQL databases.Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.Innovative mindset with leadership qualities.
