About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our Integration Centre of Excellence in India, responsible for end-to-end technical delivery of enterprise applications and integrations within a cloud-based, microservices-driven architecture. This role blends deep hands-on technical expertise with leadership and governance responsibilities, ensuring high-quality design, development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions that enable seamless data flow across systems.Working within a Scrum squad, the role focuses on guiding teams through modern engineering practices, maintaining architectural integrity, and supporting continuous improvement across the integration platform.

What you will do

  • Take full technical ownership of assigned applications and integrations from design through production support.
  • Review and validate high-level and low-level designs to ensure scalability, performance, security, and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Provide technical direction and day-to-day guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to approved designs and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain quality, security, maintainability, and consistency across solutions.
  • Identify, prioritise, and address technical debt, recommending modernisation and optimisation opportunities.
  • Oversee development of APIs, integrations, configurations, and reusable frameworks across the integration layer.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across backend, middleware, and integration components.
  • Govern CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, configuration management, and release readiness activities.
  • Validate testing outcomes including unit, integration, UAT, performance, and security testing.
  • Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution in collaboration with QA and operations teams.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for project managers, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and clearly communicate risks and mitigation plans.
  • Mentor engineers, supporting technical growth and fostering a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.

Who you are

  • An experienced technical professional with strong expertise in application and integration architecture, microservices, and APIs.
  • Hands-on with Java and Spring Boot–based development, Apache Camel, and modern integration frameworks.
  • Comfortable working across cloud and on-premise environments with a strong grasp of cloud concepts such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experienced in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, API gateways, and security patterns including OIDC, JWT, and mTLS.
  • Skilled in debugging, performance tuning, and resolving production-grade issues.
  • Knowledgeable in event-driven architecture using Kafka and service-oriented architecture principles.
  • Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and REST/SOAP services.
  • Familiar with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or AppDynamics.
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum delivery with strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Brings 7–11 years of relevant professional experience in complex, end-to-end technical delivery roles.
