About this Role
We are seeking a Margin Analyst to join the In Life Commercial Management team within Vodafone Carrier Services. This role plays a key part in improving commercial performance by identifying, driving, and closing margin opportunities. Working closely with commercial, billing, and service teams, the role contributes directly to margin optimisation and the effective management of cost of sales across the business unit.
What you will do
- Deliver margin opportunities identified by In Life Commercial Managers.
- Manage cost and revenue-related queries across Vodafone Carrier Services and Vodafone Group Entities using established triage processes.
- Track and maintain visibility of margin status for active circuits.Support ad hoc initiatives aimed at improving overall margin performance.
- Contribute towards achieving the team’s margin target through consistent financial oversight.
- Ensure effective financial hyper-care by managing cost of sales, including removal of costs linked to ceased services.
Who you are
- Experienced in fixed-line billing, cease operations, service provision, commercial change, or inventory environments.
- Comfortable working with complex financial and operational processes such as ETC, CN approvals, purchase order approvals, and accruals.
- Analytical in approach, with the ability to interpret and resolve complex commercial issues.
- Proactive in issue resolution, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Skilled at building effective working relationships within a matrix organisation.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and analytical tools.
