Job Description

Role Purpose

Lead project phases from G0 to G5/6 gate, coordinating deliverables for gating decisions and approvals.Manage project delivery for all connectivity demand requests from major customers (Group Data Center) and OPCO within NSU scope.Interact with customers and stakeholders across the GO organization to capture requirements, highlight dependencies, and resolve issues.Collaborate with service connectivity build teams (Vodafone Cloud Infrastructure, DC Service Design, office networks, Global network engineering) for early design and customer demand management.Drive customer interaction at the project level and provide an interface for stakeholders.Engage regional demand teams for delivery within OpCo network.Work with distributed teams of design and product owners to achieve outcomes.Ensure timely delivery and ongoing services by controlling schedule, risks, scope, and budget.Support Principal Service Delivery Manager in managing escalations up to senior management.Own end-to-end project delivery, lifecycle activities, and budgets.Improve delivery processes with a focus on automation and continual service/KPI improvement.Stay updated with technology trends and upskill self/team for new areas of work.Engage in agile projects and transition them to offshore.Create work breakdown structures (WBS) or sprints, collate estimates, and create schedules based on business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage all customer-driven connectivity projects for VF-Group and OPCO across technology platforms.Lead multiple projects/programs, leveraging team capabilities in design, build, test, implementation, and project management.Deliver all VCI demands requiring OPCO or VCI connectivity.Own and manage project budgets for customer-driven projects within NSU product portfolio.Drive prioritization across NSU departments for customer projects.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

Technical Skills:

  • SDN/Network Orchestration foundations
  • Public Cloud Connectivity overview
  • Edge Cloud Architecture overview
  • Fundamentals of AWS/Azure/OCI/GCP environments

Methodologies:

  • Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Participation in sprints, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups for connectivity product development

Soft Skills:

  • Creativity and innovation
  • Continuous improvement and simplification
  • Engagement in skill-building activities

Must-Have Qualifications

BE/BTech in Electronics/Telecom/ITProject/Program/Delivery Management experienceProven Project Management capability (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe)

  • On-time project delivery within approved budgets for all projects/programs
  • Timely, accurate reporting and proactive issue identification
  • Contribution to Network Delivery project repository
