Job Description

Join Us

At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers – we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world. If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do

Join our VOIS Luxembourg Finance Services team and take on a pivotal role at the heart of Vodafone’s financial operations. As the end-to-end owner of accounting and compliance for the Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC), you’ll be responsible for everything from governance and statutory reporting to internal forecasting and system enhancements. You’ll work closely with our global VOIS Service Line teams, local finance and business stakeholders, and Group functions to ensure seamless financial operations and full compliance with Group standards and legal requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to lead major transformation and process improvement initiatives, integrate new business scope into Finance Services, and act as a trusted partner to both finance and commercial teams. You’ll oversee the integrity of VPC’s financials—managing a P&L of approximately €6 billion and a balance sheet of €5 billion—while driving working capital and cash flow performance across the Group. Your insights will shape executive-level reporting and support strategic decision-making at the highest levels, including the Head of Finance and CEO.

You’ll also play a key role in managing statutory audits, FX exposure, and SOX compliance, while championing digital innovation through the FinOps roadmap. As a leader in the Working Capital Community of Practice, you’ll drive cross-functional projects and support key transformations like Logistics 3.0 and new trading models. This is a chance to create a culture of continuous improvement, empower your team, and make a lasting impact on Vodafone’s financial future.

Who you are

  • Financial Expertise: You apply deep technical financial expertise—across financial accounting, commissions, and more—developed through hands-on experience aligned with the Finance Operating Model.
  • Industry Knowledge: You bring over 10 years of experience in Financial Operations, FP&A, and/or statutory audit, with a proven track record in both execution and oversight. You leverage your understanding of the telecommunications industry to navigate sector-specific challenges and contribute strategic insights.
  • Communication & Influence: You demonstrate exceptional communication skills, clearly articulating financial results, processes, and strategies while influencing a wide range of stakeholders. You excel in collaboration and presentation, confidently coordinating across diverse teams and ensuring your message resonates at all levels.
  • Leadership & Team Management: You lead with impact, drawing on your experience managing remote and virtual teams in complex, fast-paced environments. You thrive as both a team player and a leader, fostering a high-performance culture and driving results through others.
  • Problem Solving & Mindset: You embody a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to exceeding expectations and delivering meaningful outcomes. You combine analytical thinking with adaptability and innovation to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement.
  • Education & Professional Foundation: You build on a solid academic foundation with a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
