What you’ll do

We are seeking an innovative LLM Engineer Lead / NLP Engineer Lead to join our Big Data and AI Team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) for a range of applications, from understanding to generation tasks. Your work will directly contribute to integrating advanced AI capabilities into our products and services, enhancing user experience, and driving business value.

• Design and implement Large Language Models for a variety of NLP tasks such as text classification, entity recognition, and question answering
• Integrate LLMs into existing and new products, ensuring they enhance functionality and user experience
• Manage and optimize the infrastructure required for the data-intensive processes of training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs
• Monitor and assess LLM performance in production environments, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high standards of reliability and efficiency
• Work closely with data engineers to ensure a smooth data pipeline for model training and inference
• Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and deliver AI features that align with business goals
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in NLP and machine learning, and incorporate cutting-edge research and techniques into our systems
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard operating procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference
• Presenting the results to technical and non- technical audiences

Who you are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related field. PHD degree will be a plus.
• 6+ years experience in developing, implementing and maintaining NLP products
• Proficiency in designing, training, and fine-tuning machine learning models, particularly in the context of NLP, using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Expertise in working with state-of-the-art deep learning architectures for NLP,such as Transformer models(BERT,GPT), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), and convolutional neural networks
• Proficiency with LLM frameworks such as Transformers from Hugging Face.
• Strong understanding of Word embeddings, contextual embeddings (e.g. Word2Vec, GloVe, ELMo), and pre-trained language models (e.g., BERT, RoBERTa)
• Solid experience with NLP tasks including but not limited to text classification, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and question answering
• Strong software engineering background, with proficiency in programming languages like Python
• Experience with deploying scalable AI systems in production environments
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical results to non-technical audiences
• Ability to guide junior nlp engineers in their skill sets, motivate them, and build the company’s foundation for future growth
