Bybeing part of our sales team you will help to grow IoT revenues and margin through direct and overlay sales usingVodafone’s IoT Product portfolio and Connectivity. You will become the primary sales lead for IoT opportunitiesand work closely with the account team to develop and manage a range of customers by understanding theirbusiness, the challenges they face and developing a solution that helps them overcome those challenges. You willbe an engaging personality type and use your empathetic nature to lead a conversation based on successfulbusiness outcomes.


You must be highly motivated, engaging, thoughtful and have a desire to make change.

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position covering a period of parental leave.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end‑to‑end solution sales of transformational IoT services into existing Vodafone UK Business customers, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, business challenges, and strategic objectives to deliver value‑led solutions.
  • Design and execute strategic initiatives to accelerate the growth of Vodafone’s IoT portfolio in the UK, with a clear focus on driving Net Booked Total Contract Value (NB TCV).
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of key industry verticals, enabling the development of targeted value propositions and contributing to more effective go‑to‑market and demand‑generation campaigns.
  • Support and influence strategic IoT sales and marketing campaigns by collaborating cross‑functionally with teams including Marketing, Vertical Market Development, PR, Channel Sales, and other stakeholders to drive pipeline creation and revenue growth.
  • Engage, develop, and expand the IoT partner ecosystem to strengthen Vodafone’s market position in the UK, supporting joint go‑to‑market initiatives, enhanced service propositions, and differentiated customer offerings.

Who you are

  • You are a results‑driven business development professional with a strong IoT or connected‑solutions background and a passion for winning new opportunities. You bring a proactive, new‑business mindset and are comfortable leading outbound activity, including cold calling and LinkedIn‑led campaigns, to build and progress a high‑value sales pipeline.
  • You have experience managing complex, solution‑based deals, and are confident owning opportunities end‑to‑end from initial engagement through to close. You understand how to position IoT solutions in a commercial context, translating customer challenges into clear, value‑led propositions.
  • You thrive in a target‑driven environment, take ownership of your performance, and use insight and data to prioritise effectively. You collaborate well with internal teams and partners, and value inclusive, respectful ways of working that encourage diverse perspectives and ideas.
  • You bring deep IoT expertise or are continuing to build it, you have the curiosity, resilience, and ambition to grow with Vodafone and make a meaningful impact in the UK IoT market.
