About this Role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Operations Architect to guide stakeholders across VOIS and Vodafone entities toward well‑structured, cost‑effective, and scalable infrastructure solutions across on‑premises and cloud environments. The individual will play a central role in assessing technical demands, designing end‑to‑end architectures, and ensuring alignment with delivery teams throughout the full project lifecycle.

What you’ll do

Provide technical and financial advisory to Business Relationship Managers during demand assessment and feasibility analysis.Recommend the most suitable technology platforms across on‑premises and cloud landscapes.Lead follow‑up technical discussions and support high‑level cost estimations.Create logical and low‑level solution designs and ensure GIANT system alignment.Act as the technical interface between customers, internal delivery hubs, technical pillars, and product management teams.Ensure a seamless transition of solution designs into delivery—either as projects or standard services.Translate infrastructure requirements into clear, comprehensive solution designs.Collaborate with Programme and Project Managers to ensure timely and high‑quality implementation of designed solutions.Support simple demands handled directly by the Tech Pillars and ensure overall design governance.Contribute to consultancy and technical forums for continuous improvement.

Who you are

Expert knowledge of modern IT technologies across on‑premises and public/private cloud environments, ideally within the VCI Product Portfolio (e.g., DRCC, OCI, CI, VMWare, Azure, AWS, GCP).Advanced understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, WLAN), telephony, storage, backup, and firewall/router/switch configuration.Proven ability to translate business requirements into architectural designs.Strong background in IT delivery management with experience in infrastructure implementation.Skilled in low‑level infrastructure design, data security best practices, and governance frameworks.Experience designing and supporting complex network solutions in a large‑scale organisation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in international, distributed teams.Minimum five years’ experience across at least two infrastructure solution development areas (e.g., architecture, network management, middleware, cloud development).Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Fluent in English.
