Der agile Release Train des Customer Data Hubs verantwortet die Entwicklung und Betrieb zur Bereitstellung konvergenter Kundendaten in Echtzeit aus allen IT-Stacks. Unser Team setzt auf innovative Technologien auf Basis Cloud-native Architekturen in AWS und unterstützt mit Millionen API-Calls und Event-Triggers pro Monat die digitalen Interaktionen von Millionen Kund:innen.

Dich erwartet ein hochmodernes, spannendes, dynamisches Arbeitsumfeld als agiles DevSecOps Modell mit zehn agilen Teams. Als Spezialist:in für Infrastructure as Code (IaC) entwirfst, baust und betreibst du die cloud-nativen Plattformen für den Customer Data Hub und unterstützt das Deployment und den Betrieb unserer geschäftskritischen Anwendungen, die direkten Einfluss auf die digitale Transformation und den Geschäftserfolg von Vodafone haben.

Was Dich erwartet:

• Du konzipierst, implementierst und verwaltest Kubernetes/EKS-Cluster für hochverfügbare und sichere Cloud-Umgebungen.
• Du entwickelst „Infrastructure as Code“, die moderne Umgebungen auf Basis von Kubernetes und Cloud-Infrastruktur bereitstellt.
• Du optimierst Cloud-Ressourcen hinsichtlich Performance und Kosten (FinOps)
• Du stellst Compliance und die Einhaltung von Sicherheitsstandards in Kubernetes- und AWS-Umgebungen sicher.
• Du unterstützt den Betrieb von unternehmenskritischen Anwendungen, einschließlich Monitoring, Alerting und Rufbereitschaft.
• Du analysierst Störungen und stellst die Wiederherstellung von Services sicher.
• Du treibst die Entwicklung und Implementierung neuer Features und Self-Service-Funktionen voran.

Was Dich auszeichnet:

• Abgeschlossenes technisches oder wirtschaftsingenieurwissenschaftliches Studium oder langjährige Erfahrung im Bereich IT-Cloud Infrastruktur, IT-Betrieb, IT-Engineering.
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Umfeld von Public-Cloud-Lösungen, Aufbau und Verwaltung von Infrastructure as Code (z. B. bei AWS-Services, Kubernetes, Container-Lösungen wie Docker).
• Praktische Erfahrung mit Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes/AWS EKS, Helm und CI/CD-Deployment mit Argo CD sowie Zertifizierungen.
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in AWS-Netzwerken (VPC, Subnets, Routing, Load Balancing, Security Groups) und relevanten AWS-Services (EC2, S3, RDS, EFS, OpenSearch, CloudWatch)
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in GitHub und GitHub Actions für Versionskontrolle und Automatisierung
• Sehr gute konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten und strategisches Denken.
• Erfahrung in agilen Arbeitsumgebungen und Anwendung von DevOps-Prinzipien
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, komplexe Konzepte verständlich zu erklären.

Diese Stelle kann in Vollzeit oder vollzeitnaher Teilzeit (mind. 30 Stunden) ausgeübt werden.

The agile Release Train of the Customer Data Hub is responsible for the development and operation to provide convergent customer data in real time from all IT stacks. Our team relies on innovative technologies based on cloud-native architectures in AWS and supports millions of API calls and event triggers per month for the digital interactions of millions of customers.

You can expect a state-of-the-art, exciting, dynamic work environment as an agile DevSecOps model with ten agile teams. As a specialist for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you design, build, and operate the cloud-native platforms for the Customer Data Hub and support the deployment and operation of our business-critical applications that have a direct impact on Vodafone’s digital transformation and business success.

What to expect:

• You design, implement, and manage Kubernetes/EKS clusters for highly available and secure cloud environments.
• You develop “Infrastructure as Code” that provides modern environments based on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
• You optimize cloud resources in terms of performance and costs (FinOps).
• You ensure compliance and adherence to security standards in Kubernetes and AWS environments.
• You support the operation of business-critical applications, including monitoring, alerting, and on-call duty.
• You analyze incidents and ensure service restoration.
• You drive the development and implementation of new features and self-service functions.

What sets you apart:

• Completed technical or industrial engineering degree or many years of experience in IT cloud infrastructure, IT operations, IT engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of public cloud solutions, building and managing Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS services, Kubernetes, container solutions such as Docker).
• Practical experience with Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes/AWS EKS, Helm, and CI/CD deployment with Argo CD as well as certifications.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS networks (VPC, subnets, routing, load balancing, security groups) and relevant AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EFS, OpenSearch, CloudWatch).
• Solid knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and automation.
• Very good conceptual skills and strategic thinking.
• Experience in agile work environments and applying DevOps principles.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

This position can be performed full-time or near full-time (at least 30 hours).
