About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Global IoT Service Consultant to lead service relationships for Vodafone’s largest strategic IoT customers. This role combines customer engagement, technical service management, service governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring exceptional customer experience across the full IoT service lifecycle. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, driving operational excellence, service enhancements, and stakeholder collaboration in a global environment.

What you’ll do

  • Act as the dedicated service contact for Vodafone’s largest strategic IoT customer accounts globally.
  • Build and maintain trusted customer relationships, including engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead service review meetings and quarterly business reviews.
  • Deliver proactive IoT technical service management and consultancy.
  • Drive continuous service improvement by analysing service trends, identifying customer needs, and applying ITIL principles.
  • Support the evolution of IoT operational services through improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and strategic partners to enhance solutions and service delivery models.
  • Contribute to strategic IoT initiatives with Technical Service Planning Authorities and wider IoT teams.
  • Manage service performance against contractual commitments, including KPIs, SLAs, customer satisfaction, retention, cost-to-serve, and service improvement plans.
  • Provide support outside standard business hours where required for global customers with specific service needs.

Who you are

  • Fluent in English.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certified.
  • Experienced in project management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong technical understanding of IoT services and networking technologies, including managed WAN, LAN, SDN and security solutions.
  • Skilled in customer relationship management, negotiation, communication and influencing across multiple organisational levels.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends and communicate insights clearly.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experienced in working within matrix organisations and leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.
  • Holds a university degree or Master's degree.
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of mobile network technologies, including LPWA, GPRS, WCDMA, LTE/4G and 5G.
  • Familiar with IoT module technologies and products from leading industry vendors.
  • Brings at least three years of experience supporting automotive OEM environments.
