Role Requirements

  • Act as architecture and design authority across fintech products in IT organization.
  • Leading Solution architect team for all Vodafone financial services.
  • Responsible of aligning Fintech and IT roadmaps with group strategy and guidelines.
  • Responsible of designing full-edged solutions for the below systems:

Card Management System, Tokenization, Soft POS, Payment Gateway & switching, Settlement & Recon, Loan Management Platforms for Lending, Saving & Insurance.

  • In charge of resolving Technology disagreements among different IT teams.
  • Responsible of auditing/review IT processes and solution.
  • Instruct/follow up on delivery teams to modify them according to IT strategy.
  • Lead design for major business and technology projects across IT/Fintech in a way that directly impact revenue, cost saving initiatives and NPS.
  • Translate the business requirements in to technology requirements.
  • Lead Vodafone Group activities that require cooperation with Group Architecture Team(s) and adapting Vodafone Group Products & Services related architecture initiatives within Vodafone Egypt in a way that suit local targets and strategies.
  • Manage business requirements planning to make sure they are reflected into technology enablers to be implemented by delivery teams to make sure overall business objectives will be realized.
  • Authorized to take necessary decisions to resolve technical conflicts among different delivery functions.
  • Lead technical stakeholders to produce system roadmaps that meet architecture guidelines and business requirements.
  • Develops detailed programming instructions to solve business problems through automation support.
  • Craft the code standards for our products.
  • Use modern software architecture techniques and technologies to design , develop distributed, fault-tolerant solutions
  • Create and maintain the architecture documents.
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams..
  • Building FinTech platform and make use of microservices architecture

Who you are

  • Engineering or computer science Bachelor degree.
  • Engineering master degree is a plus.
  • At least 5+ years technical experience in IT.
  • Fintech and Payments experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Microservices, big data technologies, containers, API designing and implementation.
  • Software engineering and Design-Patterns.
  • Microservices architecture & distributed systems
  • Proven Business acumen/Solid business analysis skills.
  • Must have worked in at least 2 different Technology areas before.
  • Vendor background is a plus.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Strong decision making/leadership capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Helicopter view identifying key information and patterns.
  • Innovativeness and ability to generate viable alternatives out of challenging situations.
  • Proven ability to work in virtual teams
  • Solid development/database knowledge
