What you’ll do

1. Month end reporting Process
• Prepares monthly and quarterly financial performance presentations for management team.
• Prepares monthly macroeconomic indicators for internal and Group reviews
• Prepares quarterly competition analysis based on competitor’s announcements and BTK reports.
• Provides detailed telco market analysis for executive committee and ad-hoc requests.
• Supports Financial Reporting Manager in preparation of detailed commentaries which include detailed variance analysis to identify key performance drivers and reason for changes in the market.
• Closely follow-up telco market updates both in Turkey and worldwide and inform management team about significant updates.
• Helps to prepare additional presentations for Management Team
• Communicate with Vodafone Group Investor Relations and FP&A team for their detailed report requests.
• Understand and analyse telco financials prepared in accordance with IFRS rules.

2. Group Reporting
• Responsible for the coordination of the additional reporting activities required at the quarter ends for Vodafone Group’s results announcements and other investor relations activities
• Follow up the Group updates on accounting policies and assess the effects on our financials, communicate those effects to related departments
• Responsible for providing necessary SOX documentation for reporting process by means of flowcharts, narratives, and walk-throughs

3. Stakeholder Management
• Supports to external audit

4. Operational Review
• Responsible for preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reports including macroeconomic and market information

Who you are

• Graduated from a reputable university (major in BA or Economics)
• 2-3 years audit experience in one of Big Four Audit Companies or in IFRS reporting teams of multinational companies is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Experience in telecommunications sector would be an asset
• HFM and SAP knowledge is an asset
• Distinguishes between the urgent and the important
• Comfortable working in a very fast-changing and high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) - specifically the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Keeps relevant people appropriately informed
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of management
• Information seeking skills
• Organizational awareness
