About this Role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end data integration and architecture design across both on-premise and cloud-based analytics and machine learning platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping the future reference architecture for analytics and autonomics, contributing to strategic blueprints and high-level designs, and identifying growth opportunities and platform enhancements. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure solutions are delivered across Vodafone’s Engineering & Technology domains.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the development of future reference architecture for analytics and autonomics.
  • Create strategic architectural blueprints with input from key stakeholders, focusing on data integration and architecture building blocks.
  • Deliver high-level designs for ARIX 3 Solutions.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to align implementation plans with domain roadmaps and assess associated risks.
  • Identify platform gaps, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement.

Who you are

  • Proven hands-on experience in designing and developing analytics and machine learning solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data integration design patterns and enterprise IT compliance and security standards.
  • Proficient in cloud services, particularly GCP and AWS.
  • Background in IT infrastructure, networking, and automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in similar roles within large-scale platforms and international teams.
  • Experience in data streaming, batching, event-driven mechanisms, and log analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with data modelling, governance, and end-to-end pipeline design.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
