About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps professional with strong expertise in Unix/Linux environments, cloud platforms and automation practices. The role involves contributing across the full software lifecycle, including design, development, deployment and production support, while enabling scalable, secure and automated solutions within cloud and on-premise ecosystems

What you will do

• Maintain and continuously improve infrastructure including CI systems, build pipelines, test systems and development environments
• Support development and operations teams across areas such as scalability, security, and automation
• Design, implement and manage continuous delivery pipelines using modern tools and practices
• Set up and manage DevOps and cloud environments, ensuring reliability and performance
• Provide guidance and mentoring to team members on DevOps practices and tools
• Perform production support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution of complex issues
• Drive automation of deployment, configuration management and operational processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software rollout across environments

Who you are

• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and tools such as Apache, Tomcat and JBoss
• Experience with source control systems (Git, SVN) including branching and versioning strategies
• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven and Gradle
• Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) and DevOps practices
• Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl or Ruby
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools including Splunk, ELK, Graylog and Logstash
• Knowledge of databases including Oracle, SQL/PLSQL and NoSQL technologies (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Understanding of networking, security, encryption and SSL configurations
• Exposure to configuration management tools such as Puppet, Terraform or CloudFormation
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes including incident, problem and change management
• Experience working within Agile (Scrum) and DevOps delivery environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to mentor and support team members
