About this Role

We are seeking an experienced digital video testing professional to support end-to-end quality assurance across IPTV, OTT, Cable TV and advanced video platforms. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple devices and ecosystems, working closely with customers, product teams and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment.

What you will do

Execute manual testing across TV, OTT, IPTV, Cable TV and Android TV platforms.Perform test execution for OTT projects across Set Top Boxes, mobile devices, Smart TVs, Apple TV and Fire TV.Analyse requirements and collaborate with clients and product teams to clarify functional and technical expectations.Design, review and maintain test cases and test scenarios.Log defects, perform retesting and validate fixes.Conduct application and network log analysis using relevant tools.Support onboarding and training of new team members within projects.Prepare and share daily status reports with management and stakeholders.

Who you are

An experienced testing professional with strong exposure to digital video domains including IPTV and OTT platforms.Skilled in testing Cable and Satellite Set Top Boxes across varied environments.Experienced in API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.Knowledgeable in headend and video management platforms such as Kaltura.Confident in network fundamentals, including router/modem configuration, multicasting and bandwidth throttling.Familiar with media ingest processes, nPVR, Video on Demand and EPG workflows.Experienced in end-to-end IPTV configuration, installation and troubleshooting.Proficient with ABR streaming protocols including MPEG-DASH, HLS and HDS.Knowledgeable in DRM and CDN technologies.Hands-on with tools such as Wireshark, ADB, Fiddler and Charles Proxy for log and traffic analysis.Comfortable using Android Debug Bridge and Xcode for iOS testing (desirable).Experienced in system integration testing and reporting tools such as Splunk or equivalent (desirable).Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques and defect tracking systems.A clear and confident communicator with strong written and spoken English skills.Analytical, organised and able to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.Comfortable working with local and global customer teams in multicultural settings.A graduate in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
