What you’ll do

This role is required for “Data Analytics - Incentro” Team as part of Vodafone IT organization. Sales & Commissioning team is a DevOps agile team and develop new requirements on Incentro Dealer Commissioning System. Incentro is totally developed inhouse by Vodafone. Incentro team is responsible of;

  • Incentive KPIs defined by FinOps are calculated monthly basis in Incentro agile team.
  • Sharing of the resultant KPI with FinOps
  • Payment done by FinOps team
  • Overall digitalized view of KPIs via Dashboards
  • KPIs are calculated via Informatica Tool
  • Collect system/business requirements for Incentro Sales Commissioning System.
  • Conduct Data Discovery activities on Source Systems to analyse data and determine that it is ‘fit for purpose (reverse engineering skills are preferred)
  • Ensure true business needs are clearly identified and clearly understood at the root so that the most effective and efficient solutions can be derived.
  • Profile and analyse source systems, working with source system and application owners to understand source data structures.
  • Design and develop data model
  • Modify the physical data model for efficient data access paths.
  • Develop the required etl code on Informatica, conduct unit & sat tests and deploy the code on production
  • Ensure best performance for ETL by identifying needed indexes, partitions, materialized views …etc.
  • Monitor and take required actions for the proper run of daily & monthly etl runs.
  • Work closely with the Architecture team to ensure the design is meeting standards and delivering the right quality to the business

Who you are

  • 5+ years experience in datawarehouse domain especially in requirements analysis, development, specifically the challenge and validation of data capability and reporting requirements
  • Worked for source systems data analysis, source to target mapping, 3NF modelling and presentation layer design support.
  • Knowledge on basics of DWH and exposure to BI projects
  • Handson advanced ETL development experience on Informatica is must.
  • Understanding of business applications, interfaces and integrated operational environments
  • End to end experience of software development lifecycle
  • Good understanding of Telco business is preferrable.
  • Deep Level SQL and the ability to query systems - Oracle and PL/SQL knowledge must.
  • Highly developed time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to draw conclusions from detailed data sets and confidently communicate this back to senior stakeholders
  • An understanding of user needs and a focus on the business outcome
  • A logical approach to problem solving and an investigative and inquisitive mind
  • Experience in collating and documenting requirements
  • People leadership experience & good people management skills with experience of creating and managing effective teams
  • Knowledge of agile and devops methodologies (preferred)
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Business Objects and Tableau (preferred)
