Role Purpose:

The Commercial Lead within the Consumer Fixed & Entertainment Marketing team is responsible for driving the commercial success of our fixed products.

This role combines traditional duties of a Commercial Manager with additional responsibilities focused on customer acquisition.

The Commercial Lead will work closely with the sales and digital teams to maximize opportunities for connecting new customers to our network.

What you’ll do

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

  • Customer Growth Targets: Responsible for the delivery of our customer growth targets and act as key Commercial support for execution of channel strategy & customer retention strategies
  • Commercial Management & Governance: Oversee the commercial performance of fixed products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Developing business cases for pricing and proposition changes. Ensure all commercial and pricing proposals go through required governance forums and sign off procedures.
  • Acquisition Leadership: Collaborate with sales and digital teams to develop and implement strategies for winning extraordinary share of the growth in Fixed and Entertainment market. This includes regional and channel analysis, alignment on sales incentive schemes, and the development of new acquisition offers.
  • Customer Experience: Review and improve the sales onboarding process to enhance the new customer experience and increase conversion rates across channels
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and threats and adjust strategies accordingly. Identify key trends, issues & opportunities that help VF win volume market share.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, delivery and technical teams, and customer service teams, to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition and commercial performance.
  • Support Senior Product Owner to develop forecasts and plans for to deliver targets and to provide performance reporting on these products
  • Proposition development: Using your deep insight & understanding of the Fixed market you will help design/tailor new & existing propositions to meet the needs of our customers and support the achievement of product ‘Detailed Budget’ objectives

Who you are

Essential

  • 3 years+ of proven experience in key commercial competencies, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations and decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in customer acquisition and sales strategy development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
