What you’ll do

We are seeking a Lead Business Consultant to own a portfolio of strategic consulting engagements across Business Excellence within Business Operations and Transformation. The role focuses on shaping transformation priorities, advising senior stakeholders, assuring measurable value delivery, and leading a team of consultants. The individual will help translate strategic priorities into practical roadmaps, strengthen consulting capability, and apply AI and agentic AI to improve engagement productivity and redesign processes and operating models.

• Own the consulting engagement portfolio for assigned domains, including pipeline shaping, demand prioritisation, and capacity alignment to strategic needs.
• Lead executive diagnostics and agenda setting by translating strategic priorities into transformation themes, investment cases, and roadmaps.
• Assure engagement quality and outcomes by reviewing deliverables, challenging assumptions, and ensuring recommendations are practical, evidence-based, and feasible.
• Own value delivery by defining benefit cases, governing measurement, and driving value assurance with senior stakeholders.
• Influence governance and decision forums by providing options, risk perspectives, and recommendations that support timely executive decisions.
• Partner with programme and project leadership to de-risk execution, support successful delivery, and drive adoption.
• Build consulting capability through coaching, standardising methods and templates, and improving quality across the practice.
• Strengthen commercial discipline through appropriate scoping, effort estimation, and alignment with delivery constraints and controls.
• Lead and manage a team of consultants, including performance management, workload allocation, coaching, and career development
• Apply AI and agentic AI to improve engagement productivity and reimagine processes and operating models for internal and client outcomes.
• Maintain strong learning agility and build new capabilities as the practice scope and operating model evolve.
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, shaping internal proposals and business cases, and expanding the practice’s engagement footprint.
