About this Role
We are seeking an experienced individual to provide expert support across Linux operations and server security, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable system performance. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational stability, supporting security governance, and driving continuous improvement through automation and collaboration across technology teams.
What you will do
Deliver end-to-end operational and security support across Unix, Linux, Windows, LDAP, Active Directory, and related access platforms.Manage incidents, service requests, and critical server issues, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs and MTTR targets.Perform operating system hardening, security configuration, and compliance enforcement in line with organisational standards.Proactively identify, analyse, and remediate OS-level vulnerabilities to reduce security risk.Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate evidence and compliance artefacts.Drive scripting and automation initiatives using Bash, Python, or ESA to improve efficiency and consistency.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, taking ownership of tasks and ensuring timely delivery.
Who you are
An individual with strong expertise in Linux administration and a solid understanding of security compliance principles.Experienced in identity and access management, vulnerability management, and security tooling.Confident in troubleshooting complex technical issues across multiple operating systems and environments.Comfortable working in operational environments with a high level of ownership and accountability.A collaborative problem-solver with a security-first mindset and attention to detail.
