Fixed-Term up to October 2024

We have an exciting new opportunity at Virgin Media O2 for a Senior Employee Relations (ER) Partner - People Policy to join us on a fixed-term basis up to October 2024!

The successful candidate will lead on our policy harmonisation programme, including developing market-leading policies from inception to launch and beyond. Additionally, you will be developing and managing policy project plans, identifying opportunities for innovation, and continuously seeking to improve our people policies, including the supporting documentation, processes, and the way in which they are embedded.

Working closely with key stakeholders including people services, employee representative groups and trade unions, our new team member will facilitate a seamless alignment with the supporting processes behind our people policies, e.g. systems, while ensuring ongoing compliance in line with legal changes. Furthermore, the role involves providing ER governance to business transformation programmes, not only ensuring compliance with policy & procedure, but also promoting a positive employee experience, placing this together with inclusion and accessibility at the heart of all our people policies and associated processes.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:

  • Experience developing people policies from inception to launch
  • Experience leading process development within employee relations
  • Demonstrable proficiency partnering with stakeholders at all levels
  • An in-depth understanding of employee relations and employment law
  • Experience working successfully with employee representatives/forums and trade unions
