Job Description

Virgin Media O2 has an enticing role as a Senior Credit Controller. This is a vital role where you will see yourself responsible for debt collection of our top strategic accounts, ensuring that all our customers are paying to their agreed payment terms / SLAs in an effective and efficient manner keeping our debtor days to minimum.
You will be following the collections and escalation processes to ensure customers are followed up in a timely manner and pay to contractual payment terms.

Working closely with other areas of the business to ensure any queries are resolved, disputes handled, billing is accurate, credits are raised, and sales and service issues are being addressed. These relationships are key to ensure we’re all working as one team to deliver 10 out of 10 for our customers and ensuring all customers calls and queries are answered within agreed SLA’s.

The must haves In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Proven experience working with large and complex account structures, as well as working knowledge of ICOMS, NRM and DISE
  • Experience in working with Mobile applications
  • Demonstrable experience working with Circa £30 - £50 million ledgers.
  • Previous experience in adept telephone technique, and effective and professional manner communication at all levels.
  • Proven track record with negotiations, both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to unexpected changes and situations.
  • Evidence of effectively planning and handling own workload and working to specific timelines and challenging targets.
  • Based in Birmingham - 2 days a week in office.
