Learning Experience Consultant

Job Description

The Learning Experience Consultant is responsible for designing and creating engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs of learners and align with business goals and learning objectives at VMO2. Liaising with subject matter experts, other team members and vendors you will design and deploy innovative learning solutions which align with VMO2 learning design principles, incorporate sound instructional design principles, adult learning theories and new technologies.

This role will drive a learner centric approach to learning solution design across the wider VMO2 learning community, creating solutions that deliver business and learner outcomes and that demonstrate the value of the learning and development team!

Responsibilities will include:-

  • Project manage solution development with external vendor and deliver to time and budget.
  • Apply Performance Consulting techniques to identify whether a learning solution is appropriate
  • Experiment and innovate in learning experience design, identifying learner-centric effective solutions which add value.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Experience of designing and delivering effective design workshops with learners and senior business stakeholders (both virtual and face-to-face with over 30+ people).
  • Knowledge of applying design thinking approaches, and using co-creation techniques.
  • Experience of developing solutions using curation, simulations, eLearning, campaigns, virtual and face to face instructor led training and employing a range of bite-sized media including interactive elements.
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with stakeholders, vendors, subject matter experts and project teams.
  • Solid knowledge of vendor management.
