Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Business Partner, the role focuses on the consolidation of the full P&L including Opex and Capex and reporting of Virgin Media O2 Consumer Commercial and Operations financials to the Finance, CCO teams and Group across Month End and Planning cycles. The co-ordination of forecasts including annual & quarterly cycles and long-range plans, optimising the investment decisions across Consumer to drive long term success.
The role will be based on the ownership of the Monthly Analysis, Reporting and Forecasting packs and models for the overall Consumer Commercial and Operations P&L – including delivering further automation and optimisation to improve efficiency and drive improved financial insight. As well as analysing P&L trends to provide commercial insight and identify areas requiring investigation whilst collaborating closely with P&L Leads within finance to understand key assumptions and strategic aims

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Qualified Accountant - ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA
- Commercial competence to generate appropriate insight
- Have the ability to step back and look at the big picture to identify unusual trends or areas of focus
- Ability to develop a high level vision, challenging the status quo and to drive the direction and attention to detail to optimally deliver
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate sophisticated and detailed information in an easy to understand manner to all levels of the business
- Able to prioritise in order to respond to short notice requests and tight deadlines
