
Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity for a Security Technical Assessment Analyst to join the ever expanding IT Security team on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
In the role as a Security Technical Assessment Analyst you will be involved in the delivery of assurance activities required to demonstrate the security and compliance of Virgin Media O2's suppliers against relevant legislation. In addition, you will collect evidence from Virgin Media O2’s suppliers and analyse this using control matrices, with the aim of detecting non-compliant controls against the regulatory frameworks Virgin Media O2 complies with. You will also engage with technical teams to simplify technical issues in terms suitable for the audience.

- A relevant IT audit qualification (e.g., CISA ISO27001: Lead Auditor, CRISC)
- Comprehensive understanding of the core business and supply chain processes
- Expert knowledge of internal or external auditing, controls, and risk management
- Comprehensive understanding of control environments within the IT/Network security function
- Has worked in IT audit and/ or have IT information security experience and is familiar with designing and testing control framework
- Excellent stakeholder management communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a time-sensitive manner (e.g., during a procurement lifecycle)
- Ability to collaborate with business colleagues describing the technical risks in an understandable to work with them to seek practical solutions
- Capable of working independently and in a team
- Possess analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills, presentation of reports and attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible and responsive to constantly changing environment
- Desirable knowledge/experience with compliance reporting tooling, such as OneTrust
