Job Description

Up to £60,000 DOE | No OOH | No Sole Charge | 25-min consults | Growing practice | Flexible rota

Are you an experienced vet looking for a role where you are supported, listened to and genuinely part of what comes next?

Vets4Pets Fort Kinnaird is a busy, established practice with a friendly, collaborative team, strong clinical support and a healthy dose of humour.

And we are entering an exciting new chapter.

Our surgery is expanding significantly in 2027, creating more space to grow our team and broaden our clinical services. We are looking for a capable, enthusiastic vet who wants to contribute ideas, develop their own interests and help shape the next stage of the practice.

With around 60 years of veterinary experience across the team, we have strong foundations — but we are not standing still.

What Our Clients Say

“Amazing and caring team. Our boys love to come here — they always have cuddles and treats!”

“Always a pleasure to visit. The staff are superb with our two rabbits.”

What Makes Us Different

A genuinely collaborative team

Our vets bring strengths across surgery, dentistry and imaging, with colleagues available to discuss cases and share ideas.

Skilled, supportive RVNs

Our nurses are experienced, proactive and genuinely involved in clinical care.

Time to do things properly

Standard consultations are 25 minutes, with protected diary gaps for calls, catch-up and case management.

Efficient ways of working

A capable nursing team, sensible diary management and clear systems help the clinic run smoothly.

Accessible leadership and good communication

Our leadership team is hands-on, approachable and open to ideas. We hold weekly vet meetings and use a digital platform for case discussions and day-to-day collaboration.

A practice with real plans for growth

Our 2027 expansion will create opportunities to develop services and strengthen the team. We are particularly interested in people who enjoy building and improving, not simply maintaining the status quo.

Work-life balance built into the rota

Longer working days and a predictable rolling rota mean more full days away from work.

Who We’re Looking For

We would love to meet someone who is:

  • A solid all-round vet with strong clinical and communication skills
  • Friendly, mature and collaborative
  • Proactive and comfortable taking initiative
  • Happy to contribute ideas and solutions
  • Willing to work within established clinic systems
  • Keen to grow with the practice
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a team and having a laugh

Additional clinical interests or skills that could help broaden our services would be a real bonus.

Previous experience is important, but so is mindset. We are looking for someone who sees a growing practice and thinks: “I’d like to be part of building that.”
