Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon – Flexible Hours, Supportive Team, Clinical Freedom

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a genuinely rewarding part-time role with flexibility, autonomy, and a strong, supportive team?

At Vets for Pets Oldham, we’re looking for a confident and compassionate vet to join our friendly, close-knit practice on a part-time basis.

We’re proud of our collaborative approach and strong client relationships. Our practice has an established and loyal client base who value high standards of care and continuity. We see a good variety of cases in our well-equipped surgery which includes digital x-ray, multiparameter monitors, lab, dental, and ultrasound machines. We also have visiting Cardiologists, Orthopaedic surgeon and Ultrasonographers so can deal with most cases inhouse.

The Role

• Part-time hours (we’re happy to discuss what works for you)
• No out-of-hours
• Ideally 1 in 4 weekends
• A varied medical and surgical caseload
• Opportunity to develop areas of special interest

About You
We’re looking for:

• An experienced Veterinary Surgeon (ideally confident with routine surgery and medical work-ups)
• A team player who enjoys collaboration
• Someone who values communication and client care
• A vet who wants to contribute ideas and help shape the practice

You’ll be supported but trusted — we won’t micromanage your clinical decisions.
