Flexible Hours. Fantastic Team. Prime Location. Salary up to £65,000 (DOE, FTE) for a Surgeon or £75,000 for a Clinical Lead

Looking for a role where you can thrive both professionally and personally? At Trafford Park Vets for Pets, we’re searching for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming, close-knit team. This is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to work in a practice where your voice is heard, your development is supported, and your wellbeing genuinely matters.

If you’re passionate about delivering excellent clinical care but also want flexibility, autonomy, and a team that has your back, you may have just found your perfect next move.

Why You’ll Love It Here
At Trafford Park, we’ve built a culture centred around support, collaboration, and enjoyment. We work hard for our patients and clients, but we also make sure to look after each other. Expect plenty of knowledge-sharing, encouragement to pursue your interests, and a leadership team that understands the importance of balance.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your clinical expertise, pursue a certificate, or simply enjoy coming to work each day, you’ll find the environment here empowering and energising.

About Our Practice

Our purpose-built, modern surgery is fully equipped to help you deliver outstanding care with confidence. Facilities include:

  • Digital x-ray and ultrasound
  • Full in-house laboratory
  • Dental x-ray
  • High-quality microscope
  • Multiparameter monitoring
  • Drip pumps and syringe drivers
  • Bair Hugger patient warming system
  • We are currently working towards obtaining ISFM cat friendly status

You’ll be joining a talented veterinary team with interests spanning ophthalmology, acupuncture, internal medicine, and cytology, meaning there’s always someone to learn from or collaborate with.

Our skilled nurses and VCA team run clinics, assist with procedures, and help keep the day flowing smoothly, while our exceptional front-of-house colleagues ensure every client feels welcomed and supported from the moment they walk in.
Most importantly, we’re proud of the positive, fun atmosphere we’ve created. A place where people feel appreciated, respected, and excited to contribute.

The Role

We know flexibility is key to loving where you work, so we’re committed to shaping this role around the right person wherever possible.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Flexible shift patterns to support work–life balance or childcare
  • 28 days holiday
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–6pm) with time back in lieu
  • No out-of-hours
  • We do open for Easter, May and August Bank holidays and these are shared out amongst the team

Tell us what works for you, we’re open to conversations that help you succeed both inside and outside of work.

Location Perks

Conveniently located in Trafford Retail Park just off the M60, commuting couldn’t be easier.
And when it comes to breaks or post-shift plans, you’re spoiled for choice — Aldi, Starbucks, Nando’s, Five Guys, Popeyes and more are only steps away, there is also a local gym nearby!
