We’re looking for an experienced RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years’ experience who is confident working independently and enjoys the variety and responsibility that comes with sole charge.

About Scarborough Vets for Pets

Based inside Pets at Home in central Scarborough, our practice provides a modern, bright and welcoming environment for our colleagues, clients and patients.

You’ll have access to excellent facilities and equipment, including:

• IDEXX laboratory
• Dental X-ray
• Fully equipped theatre
• Provet PMS
• Regular support from visiting specialists

You'll be joining a friendly, community-focused practice where you’ll have the independence to work confidently as a sole-charge vet, alongside access to support and expertise whenever you need it.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Have 3+ years’ experience
• Are confident working in a sole-charge environment
• Are comfortable managing routine consultations, surgery and your own caseload
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are confident making independent clinical decisions
• Are passionate about outstanding patient and client care
• Enjoy having autonomy and contributing to the development of a practice
• Are interested in certificate progression, with full support available
