We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our award-winning, family-owned Newton Abbot practice. You will assist all colleagues with clinical and non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care. Previous experience as a Veterinary Care Assistant is advantageous

Duties will include cleaning theatre, instruments, kennels - the clinical areas of the practice, answering phone calls, holding patients for the clinical team, packaging lab samples. Working closely with our Registered Veterinary Nurses to provide excellent in patient care. Full training will be provided.

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

This a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress into a student nurse role in the future.

This is a Part Time role working 30 hours per week. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11am-7pm. We are offering a wage between £10.85 and £13.50 per hour.
