Client Care Advisor
Job Description
If you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, enjoy working as part of a supportive team, and love helping pets and their owners, we'd love to hear from you. Join our friendly team at our Bournemouth Practice and play a key role in creating a positive experience for every client who walks through our doors.
What you'll be doing
As a Client Care Advisor, you'll be the welcoming face of our practice and an important link between our clients and clinical team. Every day is different, but your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every client and their pet receives a warm, professional welcome.
- Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and your colleagues to create a positive and supportive environment.
- Ensuring every client leaves feeling valued, well-informed, and confident in the care their pet has received.
- Greeting clients, processing payments, and managing future appointments with confidence.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice by using our online booking system and other administrative tools, so good computer skills are essential.
- Keeping the reception area organised, tidy and inviting.
This is a part-time position, working up to 30 hours per week, including Saturdays. The role requires flexibility to provide additional cover for holidays and sickness when needed. The starting salary is £12.71 per hour.
We're looking for someone who is friendly, organised, and genuinely enjoys helping others. You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Enjoy being the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Take pride in delivering excellent customer service and are confident explaining our services and additional products.
- Remain calm, compassionate, and attentive, even in emotional or busy situations.
- Bring enthusiasm, positivity, and a genuine passion for both customer care and animal welfare.
- Can support clients through every stage of their pet's journey—from celebrating a new puppy's first visit to offering kindness and reassurance during more difficult moments.
- Contribute to a friendly, supportive team culture and help create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who visits the practice.
If you enjoy a varied role, like to stay busy, and take satisfaction in making a real difference to people and their pets, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Benefits
In return, we offer a range of benefits, including:
- 20% colleague discount at the Vet Group, Pets at Home and the Groom Room
