What you’ll be doing...

You will be leading multiple software engineering teams internally and externally to develop and maintain the Verizon Value Data Modernization & Reporting Platform.

• Implementing Unified Data collection & centralization in GCP via building common data pipelines for internal and external systems, centralized data in Google cloud platform for all brands.

• Ensuring consistent access to enabling more accurate and comprehensive data reports and delivering critical business reporting to drive business functions and insights.

• Defining standardized data policies and KPI definition,, ensuring data consistency and reliability across the brands.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Four or more years of building Unified Data collection & Centralization in GCP

• Experience in Big Query/GCS/ETL Jobs

• Extensive Knowledge or Experience in Dataflow, Airflow

• Experience in Google Analytics

• Extensive Knowledge or Experience in Data Governance Tools

• Extensive Knowledge or Experience in Looker & Thoughtspot

• Providing leadership on complex projects, mentoring the team with specific emphasis on Google Analytics

• Acting as a liaison between IT and business community to develop business and system requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis and feedback from end user, subject matter experts and architects.

• Presenting problem statements/data/conclusions/recommendations in a consumable, meaningful, and insightful manner.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Knowledge in Telecom analytics & TM Forum data models

• Knowledge or experience in 3rd party data integration

• Experience in funnel analytics
