What you’ll be doing...

This role will support the Global Enterprise/Public Sector CRO organization in Verizon Business Group and interact daily with a cross functional team to ensure execution of organizational initiatives and actions to achieve CRO business unit objectives. This position will work with multiple contacts and partners to achieve results, drive progress of initiatives and actions, provide executive-level communications support and find innovative solutions to overcome challenges. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. Knowledge of Global Enterprise and Public Sector CRO priorities and operations are necessary to assist with development and execution of executive meeting agendas and content and to create employee culture and engagement initiatives.

  • Translate executive direction into clear messaging and communications delivered through slides, email, and other written and graphic formats. Manage executive slide development (and the supporting talk tracks), including building from scratch, adapting existing formats, clarifying requirements, incorporating updates, and providing feedback.

  • Thoughtfully propose and assist with development of agendas, outlines, slides, newsletters, and internal website content to communicate key messaging to internal and external audiences.

  • Manage the production of executive deliverables that require collaboration and input from multiple business units and leadership teams.

  • Support CRO and VBG level Group Reviews including agenda/template creation, and end-to-end project management.

  • Project management of CRO level strategic initiatives including revenue and margin Gap Close programs.

  • Assist with development of weekly CRO newsletter - create template, compose Global Enterprise and “CRO Best Practices and Insights” section and serve as final proof-reader.

  • Manage the CRO performance agreement template and n-1 cascade.

  • Manage and distribute CRO w/ VBG headcount report on a monthly basis.

  • Manage CRO top wins database and related applications (webcast slides, IR and FP&A sharing, etc.)

  • Evaluate executive direction and action items for prioritization, ownership and follow up.

  • Manage and complete ad hoc projects and reports that require coordination across teams, influencing teams to meet due dates, while building positive relationships.

  • Build excellent collaborative working relationships with non-reporting teams of all levels to achieve goals.

  • Recognize criticality of time sensitive turnaround times for executive materials and requests; adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid position may require being in person in the Basking Ridge or hub location offices up to 50% of the time.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in sales, sales operations, business development or marketing.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's degree

  • Led cross-functional teams and aligned groups to a common goal.

  • Experience in Enterprise Sales or Sales Operations.

  • Strong understanding of organizational objectives, functions and motivation.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively

  • Basic understanding of key financial concepts relevant to Verizon business performance.

  • Firm understanding of the Verizon Business portfolio and solution capabilities.

  • Creative thinker.

  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proven ability to work well with others.

  • Project management experience.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $105,000.00 and $194,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
