What you’ll be doing...

As a Project Manager on the DMBM Front Door Team, you’ll be responsible for leading the intake funnel and prioritization of communications requests by overseeing new projects from conception to assignment, as well as the ongoing evolution of those process capabilities. The primary goal is to maximize productivity and quality by giving people the time to do good work and avoid unnecessary time spent clarifying requirements or revising downstream work. You will have a thorough understanding of the problems to be solved and work across other cross functional stakeholders to determine the best potential solutions, and socialize the final approach with stakeholders.

  • Project manage a variety of incoming requests that require the support of the communications team.

  • Request Triage - Evaluating the overall priority of the request, and coaching submitters on how they can fortify their requirements to meet minimum viability.

  • Business Requirements Fidelity - Ensure that all necessary information is as complete and quality as possible and the requirements are comprehensive, clear, and complete.

  • Timing/Pacing Management - Beyond "getting the right information", it's also important that we get it in enough time to get the work done correctly. This means being well aware of typical lead times, and managing expectations for submitters

  • Upstream Education & Accountability Support and train new requesters in request process. • Lead project alignment decisions across multiple VP and Director Teams.

  • Direct the team responsible for driving the technology behind process improvements.

  • Write business requirements that will continually drive incremental automation, improving efficiencies and agility within a high volume process.

  • Optimize speed to market: date submitted, date prioritized and date assigned for work to commence.

  • Act as key stakeholder and champion for both the requestor and the NBx execution teams.

  • Partner across cross functional teams to gain alignment on ownership, timing and scope of deliverables.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Three or more years of experience in managing large cross-functional projects.

  • Project Management experience, including experience with cross-functional projects and Agile methodology.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.

  • Project management certification.

  • Ability to manage complex requests with a strong attention to detail.

  • Keen stakeholdering capabilities, with the ability to effectively engage teams.

  • Ability to juggle many very diverse offers (loyalty offers, upsell, pricing, winback, and more) simultaneously.

  • Results and process oriented.

  • The ability to manage escalated situations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, actionable terms.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
