  • Straight Talk, TracFone, and Walmart Family Mobile: Straight Talk, Tracfone, and Walmart Family Mobile stand as giants in our brand portfolio, boasting significant presence in Walmart. Their extensive reach and solidified position in the market underscore our commitment to accessible, high-quality wireless solutions across diverse retail environments.

  • Visible: Visible, as a standalone brand family, caters to the digitally-savvy, single-line customers who prefer streamlined, online-first interactions. This brand is a testament to our adaptability, embracing the digital evolution of customer engagement.

  • Simple Mobile: Carving out a niche of its own, Simple Mobile shines as the premier choice among authorized resellers. Its consistent recognition as the most carried brand in Wave7 Research’s prepaid dealer survey for 36 consecutive quarters speaks volumes about its popularity and reliability.

  • SafeLink: SafeLink remains dedicated to serving customers through government subsidies. With a strategic pivot towards Lifeline in the absence of ACP, SafeLink continues to fulfill its mission of providing essential communication services to those in need.

Responsibilities:

  • Synthesizing predictive insights to concrete business actions and collaborate with teams across the value organization (Finance / Marketing / Operations / GTS / AI&D etc.) to drive successful business outcomes.

  • Leveraging understanding of customer behaviors, strategic thinking, strong financial acumen and cross-functional aptitude to build analytical solutions to make the best informed decisions.

  • Preparing and supporting the delivery of advanced-analytics and reporting presentations (incl. predictive churn modeling, etc.) to Senior Management and engage with senior-level staff under guidance

  • Supporting the management of incoming reporting & analytics demand by helping to understand business use cases/initiatives, translating business needs into reporting & analytics requirements, and identifying approved provisioning points for data.

  • Overseeing channel reporting for sales, base management, and customer service teams to improve channel performance.

  • Participating as a thought partner in defining sections of the enterprise reporting & analytics strategy and assist in developing the corresponding roadmap.

  • Developing data subject matter expertise.

  • Defining and standardizing Value KPIs.

  • Leveraging data layer to deliver reporting & insights and perform advanced analytics.

  • Partnering closely with Data Structure & Governance teams within VGS.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of sales and/or service-related experience with large, diverse teams.

  • Knowledge of financial modeling to forecast, justify and evaluate the impact of our efforts.

  • Working experience with quota/target allocation and compensation/incentive programs.

  • Proven accomplishments in process improvement, process design.

  • Proven operational experience with large scale projects.

  • Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and key business drivers.

  • Strong logic, quantitative and analytical skills; deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in all Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications and business intelligence/ visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik, or Looker).

  • Data analysis skills and experience, including extracting and processing data/information using Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and/or other advanced data analysis and manipulation tools and resources.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree.

  • Broad working knowledge of multiple functions within the business.

  • Track record of handling extremely confidential information appropriately.

  • Comfort in presenting outcomes of analytic solutions in a format easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources and translate into effective and actionable information.

  • Ability to lead within sphere of influence, motivate others, resolve roadblocks, and escalate effectively.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and have a strong customer focus.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively both within one’s own team and across other Verizon Value divisions.
