What you’ll be doing...
Our Point of Sale (POS) applications enable us to sell to customers through a huge variety of channels. We’re pushing ourselves to be more nimble and efficient as we redefine the retail landscape—and you’ll play a meaningful role.
Leading a team, planning and reviewing their work, plus removing barriers and solving problems to help them be optimally productive.
Creating the software vision for assigned sales channels and web services.
Developing highly-available applications and service stacks in production environment.
Providing architectural oversight for systems and services.
Promoting, implementing, and educating about Agile software development.

You have the ability to define a vision and your ambitious attitude drives you to generate highly innovative ideas and take calculated risks. You develop positive relationships and innovative solutions, which makes you a productive collaborator. Customers appreciate that you take personal responsibility for their satisfaction, and team members know they can count on your commitment.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Software development experience in a diverse set of areas including scalable web applications, iOS platform app development, web services, message queues, Scalable C programming.
Experience in project management including waterfall and agile methodologies.
Proven experience in leading Software projects/development teams.
Experience triaging/handling high pressure customer end user/requests.
Experience with performance tuning, scalability and availability.
Significant experience in software development cycle.
Hands on experience in Java/J2EE application development including experience leading a technical team in such web technologies.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in a DevOps software development environment.
Experience migrating web applications to Cloud (AWS, Oracle Cloud or Cloud Foundry etc.)
Knowledge and experience of Docker/Container technologies.
Experience with Sales and Supply chain systems, logistics, Customer Engagement & CRM systems.
