Overview
We are looking for a driven User Experience Researcher with who is passionate about creating a user-focused service to join us at Vault Data.
The ideal candidate will be someone who would cherish the opportunity to champion UX and DesignOps within the organisation and are passionate about Inclusive Design, Accessibility, Micro-Interactions, and Micro-Moments.
This role will be 80% focused on User Experience Research and 20% focused on User Experience Design.
Job Description
- Lead and conduct research, define and refine experiences
- Illustrate design ideas, create wireframes and prototype solutions and conduct iterative User Testing and A\B Testing to deliver UX and UI for our product
- Contribute to establishing UX Standards, Guidelines, Workflows, Policies and Best Practices and ensure our engineering practices align with our UX Maturity Roadmap
- Collaborate with other UXers, the Product Team, Engineering Team, stakeholders, etc., prioritise research into stage groups, conduct design reviews and retrospectives, and feed into our Product Vision and Product Goals
- Meeting clients to gather information about their requirements and to find out what needs researching, designing, or usability testing
- Participate in sketching, prototyping, and user testing before passing the design onto the development team
- Applying qualitative research methods to client projects based on their needs and goals
- Gather detailed information from users through both qualitative and quantitative means and then work with Designers and Programmers to improve the user experience based on their initial findings.
- Conducting customer research to identify opportunities to improve user experience

- Minimum of 3 Years of relevant experience as a User Experience Designer, Product Designer, UX Strategist or CX Designer
- Proven work experience as a UX Researcher or similar role
- Experience with Mobile-First & Responsive Design
- Experience with Accessibility to WCAG 2.1 Level AA or AAA Standard
- Experience with Micro-Interactions and Micro-Moments
- Experience with Usability Standards and Usability Testing
- Experience with Wireframing and Prototyping (No-Code)
- Experience with Research and Design
- Experience with UI Design & Interactions
- You will have a keen analytical mind and able to design workshop activities and relevant testing to ensure the users views are represented to the design tea accurately and distinctly
- Be proficient in advising on best practice for us to implement and build our team processes going forward and experienced in reporting and presenting your research methodologies, investigation and solutions
- Be committed to ensure our work includes people from all backgrounds and allows for all voices to be heard and considered in our design process
- The ability to work without supervision and as a team within a cross-functional mixed-skill agile team and contribute to implementing a robust and efficient DesignOps framework within the organisation

We don't expect you to spend more than 30 - 45 minutes of your valuable time taking the assessment!
