Putting the power of data into the hands of the individual
Putting the power of data into the hands of the individual whilst empowering our consumers to own their own data.

The FlexScore® is the result of a rigorous 2-step verification of a company’s flexibility
First we assess the flexibility options Vault Data provides and then we anonymously survey a statistically significant proportion of their employees to make sure Vault Data is as flexible as they say they are. Our assessment is based on the six key elements of flexibility: location, hours, autonomy, benefits, role modelling and work-life balance.
We ask the hard questions so you don’t have to.

About us
At Vault Data, we are putting the power of data into the hands of the individual with the objective to rebalance the world of data, giving control back to people whilst they benefit from the profit.
Established in 2022 in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, we are a small driven team dedicated to making Vault Data the number one data governance company in the UK by 2024. To get us there, the team have been doing research around market research, technology and innovation, AI learning and advertising to ensure Vault Data will deliver to the customer and any business/brands that would be utilising our services. Our journey moving forward is to develop our own software and service offerings for a soft launch in September 2023.
Vault Data has made pledges to be socially and environmentally aware by registering to become a B-Corp, along with commitments to register with other accredited businesses that provide a safe working environment and certifications in ethical business practices.
Keep posted with the journey at Vault Data, as this exciting adventure will continue to make waves within the growth of the business.
Flexible working at Vault Data
At Vault Data, we know the importance of a flexible working environment. We pride ourselves on working within a culture of autonomy and a distributed organisation structure that allows everyone to Work From Anywhere (WFA). We believe everyone across all levels of seniority must be free to choose how, when, where they work, etc.
We are a diverse group of people who enjoy a range of social activities out of the office (salsa dancing🕺💃🏾, gymming 🏋🏿♂️🏃🏻♀️, dog walking 🐾, and cooking 🥘, to name a few), as well as being part of an exciting startup business. We have also introduced core working hours 11-3, which allows you to start or finish whenever you want, as long as it is within reason (of course).
On top of these amazing reasons to be part of Vault Data, we have an amazing employee benefits list which includes; compressed hours, 4.5 days working week, access to a mental health platform and a financial wellbeing coach, a learning budget, private health care and a holiday rollover scheme.
This approach is vital to us as we acknowledge that people work differently. Therefore, we proactively listen and engage with our employees to ensure we facilitate what works best for them.
Approach to diversity & inclusion
We are an Equal Opportunities Employer, an inclusive company with values grounded in equality and ethics, where we celebrate and embrace diversity. We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities to our existing employees and those considering joining us, and we believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make us successful.
We have a range of employees who are unique to themselves (neurodiversity, gender, ethnicity, and more), but we aim to be better. We welcome and encourage diverse applicants and will always listen and adapt to the needs of the individual.
Therefore, you are encouraged to apply regardless of your background, gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, race, disability, social status, etc. All qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment regardless of any protected characteristics from the Equality Act (2010).

Meet who might be hiring you
"At Vault Data, we are passionate about creating an open, inclusive, diverse and transparent environment for everyone. We are proud of our recruitment workflow and will ensure all candidates are treated fairly, equally, and without biases during their journey with us. Additionally, all our job adverts are gender-neutral, and we also have a gender-neutral recruitment panel.
Our interview process is either a 2 or 3-stage process (it is very rarely 3), and we even give candidates the option to choose how they would like to be assessed for technical interviews, as we understand people work differently from each other 🙂.
We prefer a technical discussion, a pair programming session, a design review, or a debate on agile anti-patterns, but if you prefer a take-home assessment instead, we have platforms that are easy to use. We don't expect you to spend more than 30 - 45 minutes of your valuable time taking the assessment!
Regardless of the outcome, we aim to give every candidate feedback and encourage candidates to provide us with one too!" - Hamza Mabrook, Head of Engineering.
