Job Description
V7 is an AI data platform to automate any visual task, voted by Forbes as one of the top 25 machine learning startups of 2021. We have raised $10 million in venture funding and are backed by the field of AI's greatest leaders, including the minds behind Elixir, Keras, transformers, and more.
We manage the training data and models of hundreds of AI companies and enterprises, spanning tens of thousands of datasets and tens of billions of training data labels. What sets us apart is our team's obsession with pushing our product to where AI will be three years from today.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will develop and activate a media strategy, using creativity and media know-how to secure and capitalise media opportunities that drive engagement with the V7 brand. Working closely with the Founders and wider organisation to deliver our message and get exposure across a wide range of media channels.
Responsibilities
Build the V7 brand through positive media exposure
Develop strategies, plan campaigns and exchange ideas with the wider marketing team
Develop new, and utilise existing, media relationships to win top tier media coverage and positively impact marketing KPIs
Initiate, nurture and manage relationships with analysts covering the AI sector, with support from the VP of Marketing
Manage analyst briefings, follow-up and engagement reporting
Run an efficient and responsive press office , managing reactive media enquiries and interview requests
Lead the creation and implementation of PR activations: lead brainstorms and develop ideas for creative PR-led activities that align with wider marketing focuses
Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results
Requirements
3+ years experience in a PR role, whether agency, in-house or both.
A strong network of media and press contacts in the tech space and the proven ability to identify and develop strong relationships with target media
Proven record of creating and executing strategic, creative and successful PR campaigns
Brilliant communication skills and the ability to translate ideas into PR tactics
100% target-oriented and resourceful, with a positive, flexible mindset
Strong news sense, with the ability to advise the team on what will and won’t make it in media
A natural storyteller and good copywriter
Excellent understanding of the media landscape and how to make the most out of a story
Ready to roll up your sleeves with a tenacious approach to getting our story told
