Salary range: £90,000 - £120,000

About the role

We are growing fast, therefore we are looking for an Engineering Manager with an exceptional technical background to lead one of our international teams of brilliant Software Engineers.

As Engineering Manager you can expect to be deeply involved in roadmap and planning discussions with our Product Managers and Engineering leadership. You will play a key role in growing your team and mentoring your team members while successfully communicating and presenting on all company levels.

What You'll Do

• Lead a growing team currently with 4 direct reports. Our goal is to increase the team to 5-6 this year and you will have a central role in the interview process.
• You will drive the right processes, meetings and communications needed for team success.
• Use your technical experience and judgment to promote the improvement and operation of systems in your area.
• Mentor your team, creating and assessing development goals and plans.
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering leaders, and customers on the iterative release of our next-generation goals.
• Actively contribute to Engineering Culture and Engineering Standards.

Requirements

Who You Are

• Come from a fast-growing engineering organisations that work with a large amount of data or AI products.
• Strong technical knowledge, ideally with a bias towards frontend.
• Looking to join a collaborative and cross-functional team to drive high impact work.
• Excited to read and review code, understand the product area, and give applicable technical mentorship.
• Managed a team of at least 4 people and comfortable managing remote team members.
• Successfully led and delivered on complex projects.
• Comfortable giving performance reviews and mentoring team members at all levels.
• You are adept at communicating relevant information clearly and concisely.
